Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. -- Matthew 24:44
Every person who has ever lived will be present at that final gathering. Every heart that has ever beat. Every mouth that has ever spoken. On that day you will be surrounded by a sea of people. Rich, poor. Famous, unknown. Kings, bums. Brilliant, demented. All will be present. And all will be looking in one direction. All will be looking at Him -- the Son of Man. Wrapped in splendor. Shot through with radiance.

And the Angels were Silent
He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. -- Psalms 121:3
The Lord is a personal God, not limited by time or space, One who inhabit the hearts of all who believe in Him. Therefore, no temple or building can contain His presence because He is eternally present throughout the universe.
Have you ever thought that God is with you in all you do and say throughout the day? He is not just present in the morning when you awake. He is with you in the grocery store, in the doctor's office, at work, even at play. No matter where you go, God goes with you.
Into His Presence
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. -- Matthew 5:16
To the watching world, our lives paint a portrait of God. Our responses to times of gladness and sorrow are like paintbrushes sweeping across the canvass of life, leaving impressions of the God we call Savior. Through our actions and attitudes seekers gather information about this Jesus we proclaim.
With the help of the Holy Spirit, may our lives paint a picture of our God who is... patient but not passive... accepting but not pliable... holy but not untouchable... near but not us.
--Alicia Britt Chole
But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. -- Luke 6:35
We may be tempted sometimes to conclude that because God doesn't fix our problem He doesn't love us. There are many things that He does not fix precisely because He loves us. Instead of extracting us from the problem, He calls us. In our sorrow or loneliness or pain He calls -- "This is a necessary part of the journey. Even if it is the roughest part, it is only a part, and it will not last the whole long way. Remember what you will find at the end -- a home and a haven and a heaven."
-- Elisabeth Elliot

5 simple rules for being added by me
01. respect me, my opinions, & my friends
02. add me & comment asking to be added back... if I don't add you within a couple days, no offense but I'm probably not going to add you.. so please remove me.
03. do not add me just to ask me to help you with your journal, etc.
04. don't add me just to spy on me for someone else. it's rude.. not to mention childish. i haven't added them for a reason.
05. a lot of time i am busy and don't have time to comment a lot, so if you can deal with that, then by all means, add me & comment.
I might make a public post every now and then but for the most part I'm keeping it friends. If you are reading this and want to add me but plan on taking me off in a couple weeks.. don't bother. Save both of us the time. Like my user info says.. "Whether you like it or not, I am who I am and I refuse to change for anyone." I'm a pretty easy going person... unless you really make me mad :)
